On the front my shop shirt I have the phrase, “Tough Cookie Chica.” This is a nod to the many clients I have been honored to work with who have endured and survived many trials in life, and prevailed with their hearts intact and even more full of love and joy for life. My table, I hope, is a place for, not only physical healing, but a safe refuge for mental and emotional healing as well.
This is one of my beloved clients, Judy. I am grateful to be a part of her life for a long time now. I am truly blessed by the many wonderful clients who have entrusted me with their massage care, thank you.
Tough cookie Chicas don’t crumble! We pick up the pieces and keep going. We might eat a few pieces along the way…!

As I began thinking about refreshing my website, my friend Nicole, who happens to teach web design classes (on top of her many skills), moved back to town and offered to help me. I was fortunate to meet Nicole in 2007 when I began working at the Cleveland Institute of Art. At that time, Nicole was a sophomore who had already been helping as a work-study student in CIA’s Continuing Education Department. Lucky for me, Nicole continued to work in our department until she graduated in 2010. She was my right-hand gal; I don’t know that I would have survived that job without her. We always worked well together and she helped to keep me silly in the midst of mounds of work.
Nicole went on to pursue many interesting and varied pursuits including working as an exhibit designer, forensic animator for the courtroom, developer of card games, a scientific illustrator on research ships, she has authored several books, and, can crochet adorable critters!
As owner and operator of Aducate Digital, Nicole translates her instructional design and brand marketing experience into a successful business for service support industries. Nicole's mission is simple: to empower those who empower others. Her passion lies in figuring out the best way to visually communicate complex topics with humor.
Nicole is indeed a silly Chica and I am ever grateful for her guidance and creativity in making this ‘ole gals website cooler. I hope you’ll keep her in mind if you and your business need help with marketing, advertising, or web design. Thank you Nicole!
